The Problem

One of the nation’s leading online automotive marketplaces was looking to create a Media Network that would leverage the power of their first-party data in a simple, powerful, and effective way.

They wanted to begin with a flagship product: omnichannel lead-generation campaigns at scale. This new product would act as an audience-first optimization engine that could power the rest of Media Network and its suite of products and tools. 

The main challenge was that their previous efforts to develop the solution in-house leveraged a   suite of legacy tools that lacked cohesion and were too constrained to address the full scope of the Media Network’s needs. 

Any attempt to build a comprehensive solution with custom functionalities would put a huge strain on an already over-allocated development team, resulting in high costs and reducing their speed to market. 

The need

The automotive marketplace platform needed a cost-effective solution that enabled execution of:

  • 3 Media Platforms
  • Direct Salesforce Integration
  • Real-time order fulfillment
  • Single, easy-to-use UI
  • Any future media product launches with <1mo time-to-live

The problem, however, was that launching and managing ads across these various outlets would not only be a huge strain on resources, both time and money but would also make budget allocation a particularly challenging balancing act for car sellers.

The solution

Using Chassis’ architecture, we were able to build exactly what they needed: a fully automated platform, integrated with their CRM, that could handle the entire order-to-activation process with no human intervention. One specialist is now able to manage hundreds of campaigns effortlessly:

  • Build Time: (less than whatever)
  • Total campaigns managed: (we should be able to get that number)
  • Headcount needed to manage nearly $1mm channel: 1

In essence, Chassis will act as the underlying structure with which they will build out a larger Media Network that will process relevant first-party data and activate digital marketing efforts at scale.
